I'm heading to Darwin in 2 weeks,Adelaide to Darwin via Brisbane and just after so info from recent Virgin Business Class service? What is it currently offering? Any wine? Food? 4 plus hours from Brissy is long enough for a couple of wines!!
Virgin catering wont change from snack until sale is finalised (whilst in admin). Might be a bit hopeful to expect anything other then snack in couple of weeks.
I also did a flight a month or so ago in VA Business from Perth-Melbourne-Brisbane and there was virtually zero service as far as food goes.
All I got was a candy nut bar and peanuts, luckily I was aware of the lack of food so took some Asian Rice Paper rolls to eat.
Plenty of small bottles of red wine eased the pain somewhat.
If it's service you are looking for try QF or wait until the dust settles and VA are in full swing again albeit with a greatly reduced J Class from what I have read.
I flew Broome to Perth in business a few weeks ago and the guy serving business was offering unlimited savoury snacks such as nuts and pretzels and small bottles and red and white wine, I was happy with that on 2.5 hour flight .
