NZ Permanent Residents: is a visa required to enter Australia?

Do NZ PR holders require a visa to come into australia?

I can see that Australian PR do not require one to visit NZ. However, few google searches later, i'm still unable to get this information clearly.

Only Australian citizens and PR are currently allowed in to Australia. Unless you are an important sports person or movie star who is given an exemption.
