I was heading back to gold this year until covid hit and travel took a dive. Currently have more than 700k points plus Flybuys and credit card points to add in. Will hold off on transferring them all across until we know more about Bain's plans. Hopefully we will still be able to use VFF points with Singapore and Etihad when things start returning to normal as was planning a big trip to Europe 2022 or 2023.

Having been a Platinum member for 10+ years, without much interaction with Velocity, I'm out and have cashed in all my points.
What a shame, I enjoyed flying with VA, it will never be the same.
Having said that flying will never be the same again.

I’m at the emergancy exit door . I’m double platinum and wifey is platinum . We do Melb-Perth weekly and she would do Perth-Syd-Canberra . We loved the -A330 airbus business class . Now .... moved heaps of points to SIA KrisFlyer when the rumours started - just cashed in 800,000 points for vouchers . I have a feeling the end product won’t be good . So , standing at the emergancy door with the wife , hoping we see value in the cabin . If not long term we will go QANTAS . Shame really . I still hope virgin survives .....

What a joke is their new business class
Pies 🥧 and some inedible sides.
