You should be able to check through to your final destination but will have to go through security again. Note that CDG security is slow and somewhat pedantic. Make sure all your liquids are capped at 100 ml and fit the regulation size zip lock bag. They stick RIGIDLY to that rule. Try to get a seat in the front row if you can so you can be out first.

You never know your luck with CDG - it can be incredibly variable with times, lots of bottlenecks, complicated buildings with not the best signage, not always easy to navigate (Terminal 1 has 7 satellite piers attached) Not sure how it will work for you when you don't have a thru ticket connection - will they check your bags thru to end destination?- some combo of airlines, even if all StarA, won't do it at certain ports. If I were you i would check with your first airline that they WILL check bags thru to the second airline, on a different ticket. If your bags can't be checked all the way thru and you need to collect and check in again then i would say you might have a problem.
