Hey all,
Does QF still operate any domestic flights from SYD International terminal? I know they used to, but a browse through the QF timetables SYD-MEL/PER/BNE all show a flight number above QF399 meaning no International Terminal departures. Are there any left?

QF 19 to Manila on a Thursday leaving SYD at 10.20am has just over an hour stop in BNE.

Only on Thursdays.
They also have a return flight via BNE too but that's only once a week too.

This AusBT article has a list of the JQ flights that also depart from the international terminal

This list was correct at time of writing but I checked it again a few months ago and it seemed like Qantas had rejigged a few of those flights...

I think QF 8 which stops in BNE on the way back to SYD can also take domestic passengers from the international terminal

I accidently booked into a BNE flight and realised it left from the Intl terminal. The nicer QF lounge is not offset by the hassles with immigration, security and delays. Hope to not make that mistake again! :-)

Dragonfly, if you're taking a domestic flight from an international terminal, they give you a pass and you speed through customs quite quickly. I'm not sure if they have changed but I use to follow AusBT's guide to getting into better lounges and that's what happens.

I have seen some A330s that have international configuration, which are used on some transcontinental flights, depart from Sydney's International Terminal. I'd look out for bigger aircraft. I know Jetstar has stopped most of its domestic services from international terminals. Good luck finding!

There are still at least 2 departures on some days by JQ that fly to OOL and 2 on some days that fly to MEL to/from the international terminal.
