Hi,

I will be flying from Sydney to Melbourne tomorrow. What health screening/questions should I expect upon arrival. I have already filled out the Victorian travel permit form. Any help is much appreciated

I'd be very surprised if any one other than your friends or relatives will meet you upon arrival to ask you anything.

James I expect they will ask you if you’ve been to a hotspot in the past two weeks (including Melbourne or O/S) check your pass and possibly take your temperature. At least that’s what happened to me at Hobart and I expect it is fairly common.

Like most things in Victoria, particularly associated with the Vic govt spin, the border permit is 95% spin, 5% action. Fly in weekly have never been checked. Another useless idea designed to increase the brainwashing and obedience of the communist state.

I've flown MEL to LST, HBA and ADL in the last few months

Tassie and ADL have immigration queues where the usual COVID questions are asked and permit checked

Return MEL on three occasions results in no permit check and no visible permit check facilities
