The new business class menu includes classic Australian dishes, more healthy choices made from locally sourced produce and served with tableware reducing single-use packaging. The menu rotates bi-monthly and includes premium Australian beers and wines. The airline is said to be ramping up customer engagement and offering a higher level of hospitality.
Economy passengers will no longer receive a snack with Virgin Australia’s complimentary tea, coffee and water. Passengers have the opportunity to purchase food from a greater selection from the onboard menu. Taking the snack cost out of the flight price. I guess every small cut adds up to a saving.
Great to hear Virgin has reopened all of their domestic lounges. But will we see better-priced business class tickets by mid-year as promised?
