Does anyone know if Virgin have any plans to re-introduce WiFi on domestic flights? I'm shortly to travel on business from Brisbane to Perth and those five hours would be a lot more productive if I could send and receive emails!
Just stepped off a Virgin Australia Flight today, Wi-Fi is turned off
for inflight internet but is turned on for inflight entertainment via the Virgin
Australia Entertainment app.
Qantas does have inflight Wi-Fi internet (on selected
aircraft), but last week it was terribly slow speed (260kbps) and I couldn’t get
into my emails.
Plan for no inflight Wi-Fi would be my advice on Virgin
Australia for the next few months, if it gets turned on earlier great, but I think it
will be a few months away.
Thanks for the feedback. Doesn't sound too promising. I just don't get it. If we're happy to pay when not just restart it. I found it ok previously for emails and basic browsing.
Does anyone from Virgin read this stuff??
