I was due to fly to Melb tonight which would've well & truly tipped me over into Platinum for the first time. I'm 95 status credits off now. Annoyingly, had to cxl the trip due to MEL snap lockdown.
I have 15 days to somehow earn 95 status credits to ascertain platinum. Any ideas how I can do that? This exact thing happened last year too haha.
Qantas are running a promo which I think ends very, very soon where you'll get 100 status credits if you a purchase a 2 year membership of Qantas Club. Sorry I can't be more specific about end date and cost, I just briefly glanced at the email before flicking it a few days ago......

Richad89 probably won’t be eligible for this one as he is probably a gold member already as he is only 95 status from Plantinum. I have tried this before, couldn’t proceed neither. I think the only thing is the BP one, or try to ring frequent flyer team to get an extension.
Guessing you're in Brisbane or Perth (as a business class return fare would earn more than the required 95 status credits). If in Brisbane, have you considered a 'status run' to Cairns ? (120 status credit earn in Business class) or if you are in Perth have you considered a 'status run' to Darwin ? Currently there are no 14-day isolation requirements on travel between Perth and NT. Naturally this is all subject to change given the current environment.
Qantas health were recently running a stat cred offer (70 iirc?) but I believe it would only credit in 60 days time. Any chance you could make it to NZ?
With regards to the BP 50 Status points with 5 x $50 spends, if you reads the T&C's it clearly states "Bonus Status Credits will not contribute towards any Platinum or Platinum One Bonus Rewards, Loyalty Bonuses, Lifetime status and any Qantas Status Accelerator."

Qantas and BP currently have a promotion of 50 bonus status points when you spend $50 or more five times between now and September.
Other than that it might be worth messaging them about it? You might find them favourable?
