Just wondering - my QFF Gold will expire in January 2022. I had multiple J bookings domestically that would probably have meant that I requalified for gold, but they have not happened due to the current situation. Any idea on if Qantas will be extending again? Thanks!
I'm trying to retain platinum and got two flights in from the first DSC offer, had my third flight to NZ due to leave last Sunday but that's now rebooked to late October. I'm in the DSC Q3 window but can't do anything. Per JP's comment, I'm hoping Qantas will continue to think on their feet re helping us remain loyal
I really think Qantas will do another round of extensions, they need as many loyal frequent flyers for when things do finally open up.
Plus they wouldn’t want to give us any reason for to go to Virgin or dare i say Rex!
I get the feeling they're happy to leave us in suspense for the time being but (I hope), once things are under control and we've got 2-3 bubbles open they'll throw up the defensive measures to protect their loyal FF base.
I don't see Rex as a threat but I reckon they'll want to keep the foot on the throat on the new VA as long as possible...

Yes, they will. But no specifics as yet. That's six months away, which is forever in Covid World.

Im hoping they do something my Plat expires in Jan 2022, 90% + of my travel is international so I have no chance of retaining.
That being said the way of the world right now I wont be able to utilize the plat benefits in 2022, wont be going anywhere!
Time will tell.
