Has anyone experienced the new QF Business Class product on flights to and from Perth today? Today was the day the new international product was launched on domestic flights between the east coast and Perth, keen to know what it's like!

I'd like to know too, I'll be doing a trip next Friday so I can report on it if nobody else has by then.

We have just completed a return SYD-PER in business and it was a big change from what we have previously experienced. Gone are the food trays, instead you are served a small plate and a large plate.
On the way over on Friday, breakfast consisted of a yoghurt bowl with almonds and honey. The sweet taste of the honey perfectly complemented to slightly tangy yoghurt and it was a delight to experience. We were also served a banana smoothy and I had croque monsieur while my wife had eggs with salmon. We couldn't complain about the food or the service.
For our Midday return flight on Monday, I chose broccoli soup with creme fraiche as my starter while my wife chose the mezze plate of wagyu, baba ganoush and tabbouleh. My main was chicken schnitzel with swiss cheese and coleslaw sandwich and my wife had salmon with green olives and potato mash. With the addition of some excellent wines and bread, there was no way we could fit in dessert, baked ricotta cheesecake with sour cherry compote or a fruit platter, let alone the cheese platter.
There was a delay in between serves, my wife had her main and had finished before mine arrived, I could see that the crew were having issues with the oven and as it was the first week of the new menu it was acceptable to expect some sort of hiccup. All in all, great job Qantas!
