I am OW Emerald flying QF24 (18:25) BKK to SYD in July.
I understand I will have a choice of three lounges with this departure time - QF, BA & CX, are any of these a standout or is there another I have missed? If they are all much of a muchness is one better for peace and quiet or quality of meals etc
Oneworldflyer: There is no more QF 1st lounge. BA has taken over the management of the lounge at BKK after the JSA ended.
Steady: Oneworldflyer is correct. You have access to the EK lounge as well, it's a pretty good lounge for BKK. The QF lounge is pretty decent as well. I personally like the decor of the QF lounge better as compared to the EK lounge. But if you are a little peckish, it may be a good choice to head to the EK lounge as they have a much wider selection of food. The CX lounge is of a very poor quality as it doesn't even have a washroom, let alone showers.
In addition, you have access to the JL lounge as well but I am not sure if it will be open at the time when QF24 departs.
I much prefer the CX lounge to the QF lounge. I tend to shower in the QF lounge and then head to the CX lounge for dumplings. But the JL lounge is even better - so once I'm satisfied with my dumplings, I head over to the JL lounge for my relaxing lounge time.
I dont think you get access to EK lounge, as I believe this is only true for the DXB Lounge...QF member are otherwise made to use the QF Lounge (if available). Hence, in DXB, there is no QF Lounge, so the EK Lounge is the only option.

BA, CX and QF all use the same Qantas First Lounge. You also have the choice of the Emirates Lounge if I am not mistaken.
