The Captain-style chair with the dining table set up is also perfect for working.
Amenities by French luxury brand Lalique are provided.
An overhead view of the combined First Class suites.
Large HD screens connect you to the KrisWorld entertainment suite.
Bathrooms are large and spacious...
...with vanity mirrors for freshening up.

The design still strikes me as so odd that you can have a double bed and yet you can't have companion dining.

I know, very odd. It's a great luxury to dine together in QF F and non-787 BA F.

"Luxury" and "BA" are two words that don't go together.

Completely disagree. Every flight I've had in BA F has been excellent.

Probably a matter of design priority and possibly related to the results from customer focus groups during product planning/ development:

It will be interesting reading the first few reviews to see if the distance between each other is a problem, given it's about 1.5m (bed width 1.36 plus distance from the seat to the bed)

I just hope the bed is more comfortable than the Etihad one, which in my opinion is very hard.

It's simply stunning, c'mon how could you start to pick at the faults. This sets the bar so high for F class (you can include EY + new EK here too) and is exactly what F class as a product 'on notice' absolutely needs to differentiate itself and give tangible value (over J class) for those prepared to pay for it. Honestly as an airline product executive, if you're not seriously planning to be in this league I'd start planning my F cabin wind down strategy about now.

I still prefer EK’s new B77W F.

I really love the understated aesthetic here. Very modern and sleek, IMO.
