You've read our reports and photo galleries on Singapore Airlines 'next generation' of first class and business class seats, which will launch in September on SQ's Singapore-London flights.
Now settle in for a serve of video, courtesy of this 'B-roll' clip from Singapore Airlines which contains interviews with airline executives and the designers of the new seats.
Australian Business Traveller is attending the launch of Singapore Airlines' new seats in Singapore as a guest of Singapore Airlines.

The Business Class seat looks the better out of these new offerings, I still prefer Emirates First Class Private Suite over Singapores First Class seat. The privacy of shutting that door is just amazing, you enter a whole other world...not to mention the joys of showering at 40,000ft!

The shower is more gimmick than real positive (although the spacious bathroom certainly is nice). The pressure isn't great and given you are limited to a very short one, I think it's more hassle than its worth (better to grab one in lounge)

A great exclusive you've got. I do wonder if they've been as innovative as they should have though, their comments about the experience as opposed to superficial design are interesting, but with possible enduring defecits, such as the fold-back business beds, I wonder if there could have been even more improvement.
