Virgin Australia partner Airberlin is now offering its business class guests a new amenity kit on long international flights by luxury fashion label Wunderkind.
Dubbed the ‘culture and hygiene’ bag, the unisex kit comes in two styles, with one bag offered on flights to Germany and the other when homeward bound.
Both kits pack in Wunderkind lip balm and facial moisturiser, along with the basics such as a sleeping mask, a dental kit, ear plugs and socks.
Wunderkind-brand gel hand soap and body lotion will also be provided in aircraft washrooms to complement the amenities provided to passengers in their seat.
These tweaks to the on-board business class experience follow a larger overhaul last year in which all of Airberlin’s long-haul aircraft were upgraded to feature fully-flat beds.
Velocity Frequent Flyer members can travel to Abu Dhabi with Virgin Australia or its partner Etihad Airways before flying onwards to Berlin, Dusseldorf and Stuttgart with Airberlin.
