What's going on with Qantas DRW-LHR? Multiple reports of bags being offloaded, turning up 3 days later. QF says runway at DRW shortened due to maintenance, reducing max takeoff weight of 789 so bags have to go. Customers say no warning, arriving LHR with no clothes, can't get QF on the phone, no compensation offered. Anyone here affected?

Yes, lots of complaints on FB and Twitter. Feel free to share your experiences here, too.

I am sure Qantas will come out and say the reason bags are being unloaded is because customers are not match fit.

Just another reason why we're flying to London/Paris on Singapore Airlines in December........1st time in 40 years of flying that we're not using QF as our main Airline

Good choice. If more pax like you stopped rewarding mediocrity then maybe, just maybe, QF will do a U-turn and we can go back to flying QF because we want to fly them, not because we have to (I've been flying QF since I was 4 yrs old - that's 42 years now, and they lost the bulk of my business since Mr. Joyce took the helm. Coincidence?)
