Short background, travelling to Europe *From Perth in a couple of weeks and had a choice between Emirates and Qantas, both similar travel times. I had 4 lounge passes with Qantas credit cards so thought may as well use them.
So, book with Qantas, go to allocate the lounge passes and turns out they can't be allocated as the lounge is reserved for Gold and Platinum members on the flights with lounge passes locked out. To add to it, the Qantas terminal is separate to the main international terminal so don't get the option to use my priority passes.
Now i know the majority of people on here are Gold/Platinum and i've only just lost my Gold standing with Star Alliance so its back to economy for me. But the question is Qantas leading customers on by not disclosing the ability to use these passes?
Is Qantas being deceptive by not disclosing the limitations prior.
It’s not just certain airports but certain times as well, lounge passes are out for school holidays and other busy periods as determined by QF, they can’t be used in Melbourne on Grand Prix weekend for example, the passes are essentially worthless.
Yep so it’s in the terms and conditions that lounge invitations cannot be used at the perth transit lounge or the domestic business lounge if you are on an international flight.
You can use your passes at the Qantas domestic lounge at PER. It's in the same building as the QF international flights. You'd just have to time your exit from the lounge to give you sufficient time to get through immigration and security.

Thanks for the heads up, i'll look at doing that.

What airport are you talking about?
There is a page that says which lounges cannot be accessed with a lounge pass and that they are subject to availability
