Travelling to Bangkok for a confrence but have a couple of leisure days on the end, I am a little overwhelmed with the hotel offerings and finding it hard to narrow it down. I'm leaning toward Four Seasons or Kempinski at this stage but still very open to other suggestions.
Sindhorn Kempinski is very nice and in a great area, avoid the Siam Kempinksi its very old. I was just at the Kimpton which is next to the Kempinski hotel and really liked it... Both Kimpton and Kempinski have triple glazed windows if noise is an issue for you. I have read reviews on Four Seasons saying the Capella next door is better.
Enjoy bangkok its a fun city to spend a few days in
I know, the options in Bangkok seem endless. The one I would recommend is the Marriott Surawongse. What I like- new hotel, only a few years old. Comfortable rooms with good views (if you have a upper floor room) The rooftop pool makes for great IG photos. The breakfast is the best ever. Rooftop bar has good drinks. A/C and water pressure are spot on. Service is very very good. And the price is so reasonable, about 1/3 of the 4 seasons last I checked. I think price performance wise this place can't be beat.
Ritz Carlton Bangkok although I havent been post covid. Relatively new, centrally located, quiet with great pool and roof top bar and some nice art installations
I second the Marriott Surawongse. The pool and breakfast alone are amongst the best, with modern rooms and friendly staff. If you happen to get the bigger suite rooms, it almost feels like you're own spacious apartment.
