Singapore lounge again. Now situation is - arriving in First, transiting in Singapore for 4 hours and departure in Business. Will I be able to access QF First? Please no theories, only personal experience. Thanks.
If I would have any reasonable status question will be never asked. Question is - will they allow pax in transit to attend lounge based on his arriving flying class? What I read from their website a while ago they should, but like to have confirmation from first hands.
Qantas only permits its own Platinum and Platinum One frequent flyers entry to Qantas Clubs and Domestic Business Lounges on arrival. However, this doesn't extend to international flights or to elite-status members of partner airlines.
Definitely not. The sense of entitlement platys have is nauseating
There a rule for whole Oneworld where one can access lounge by arriving ticket providing that (s)he departure the same day and use domestic flight or "international short flight" as a second leg. My second leg is not that short, but shorter than first, so I should be OK. Worse of all I will go to Qatar lounge that is very good by itself except of showers.
@Serg - did you get access? Interested to know if Qantas did apply the Oneworld rule or not.
"Connecting between oneworld marketed and operated flights: First and Business Class customers connecting on the same day of travel, or before 06:00am the following day, can access the lounge when travelling between an international long haul (a oneworld international long haul flight is defined as an international flight marketed and operated by any oneworld carrier with a scheduled flight time longer than 5 hours) and an international short haul or domestic flight (and vice-versa)."

Hi ZQN Fan,
I would be curious by myself and would definitely report. However my flight is still 6 months ahead and I managed to change it to more direct SYD-HND also in First. So sorry, will not be able to check and tell.

It depends on your Status with Qantas.
