I flew domestically within China a few times on a fully paid business class ticket ( C ) on Hainan airlines in October. When booking the flight through a third party there was no option to add a Velocity number, so I thought the partnership was over but looked on the Velocity website and it states
Our partnership allows you to earn Status Credits when flying on eligible Hainan Airlines operated flights and fare classes within or between Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Greater China (China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan).
I was flying within China so I read that as an eligible flight. I also intend to fly Tianjin Airlines from Sydney to Chongqing in February. I claimed the flights with Velocity about 6 weeks ago and nothing has been credited to my account. Should I be chasing this up?

Yes. Should lodge a missing points claim with Velocity. Even though this partnership isn't going to go anywhere and is nowhere near as good as pre COVID, it still exists. You still get some status benefits and you should earn points/status credits as per the chart.
