I going to fly UK in September and rent a car there. Then I need to pick someone up who arrive to Heathrow next day at T2. Problem is neither I or other party familiar with Heathrow and we will not have any means of communication except WiFi (i.e. SMS ok). So here is a question - does anyone know if they in Heathrow have common pick up place? Like for example in Melbourne we have dedicated place at ParkRoyal and it even called "Arrival Drive"? Or how else we can agree to meet in unfamiliar place when I am on the car? Or any other suggestions?

Thanks.

There are few options for picking up passengers at any of the LHR terminals. "it is prohibited to pick-up passengers from Heathrow's Terminal forecourts, and any cars left unattended will be removed by the police." The only option is to park in one of the nearby Short-Stay car parks that cost £7.50 for the first 30 minutes. An alternate plan is for them to take a train to a station that is more welcoming of your car-parking.

Hi Phil and thanks for replay. After study Google Map and Heathrow map I concluded that the best way would be for third party to catch tube to Hatton Cross.

Thanks for your comment.
