On BA site when one try to select seat it appears like it is new 1-2-1 layout. However Seatguru says that it is old Yin-Yang setup. Moreover Seatguru believes that all B777 have old setup.
Anyone willing to comment? Especially who flown this flight very recently.
I’d believe the seat selection on the BA website. I believe most 777 from LHR are the Club World Suites. I was in LHR-LAX a couple of weeks ago and was in the 1:2:1 Club Suites.
Seatguru is no longer that reliable and does not have most new seat maps - in this case the BA club suites 777s.
Also, not sure why you think BA are lying, they may have a plane swap but at this stage they would plan on operating a refurbished aircraft
I do not think that BA lying and especially lying deliberately. I just see contradictory information and try to figure out why. And I would agree - I also have feeling in my guts that Seatguru is going downhill.

Does anyone have any alternatives to seat guru? Or just have to do our own research and look at multiple sources days?
