Anyone notice inconsistency on QF website when searching for classic rewards? Like it shows that something available but when you click it shows no tickets or kick you out completely? Or when searching by "multi-city" it shown that only economy available but when you click some J fares available as well or other way around when it shows J only but on click only economy can be seen? Anyone wish to comment? Anyone tried contact Qantas?
If something can't be booked then its mostly other airlines and inconsistencies with inventory (not properly updated/synchronized or someone booked it but not yet gone through to QF). In General in these cases call the FF centre and make the booking manually, if something is available they can look for it and book it. Sometimes they even see more, or can do a better search than you can do via the website and give you alternative journeys. If you get an error on the webpage they waive the fee.
The inconsistencies with travel class do also appear, yes, for me mainly if it's a mixed cabin (not whole way in your chosen class) and maybe if the first leg is not in the chosen class but the other(s)? Not sure on that.

Hello, Serg. This is not a new problem. It's been around for at least 5 years from my experience. I search and spot a Classic Reward I'm interested in. Then I click on that Classic Reward. Then....NOTHING. There is no sign of that phantom Classic Reward I just saw literally a nano-second ago before I clicked. It's annoying, but then again...it's QANTAS. Just lower your expectations. The late James Strong would not have tolerated such an uncorrected problem for a week, much less 5 years. But then again, QANTAS is no longer the solid airline of competent leaders like James Strong.
I have also had the issue (twice now) that when I go to book an award, with the exact amount of points required in the account, it says i have insufficient points.
I rang QF about this and they then told me I needed at least 1000 points more... only to then find out the error still occured until 10,000 points remaining in the account.

Yes unfortunately these Phantom Reward seats have been around for many years as posted above. Isn't Qantas meant to be rolling out a major IT update/front end UI overhall soon? I'm hoping all these bugs will be ironed out in this update. That of course won't fix the issue that there doesn't seem to be any international business classic awards anyway.

You would have thought QANTAS would have used the massive two year 'down time' of COVID to work on their IT systems. But.....no.

The website has several glitches sadly.
