Hello, ive heard so much about the new BC on emirates 777. I recently flew the new product, 2-2-2 on the 200 er. I'm 5'9" and I couldn't reach the footrest which is behind the seat in front of me. i then tried to lift the footrest in the seat, which would not go up to completely horizontal. Surely there must be a way to keep your legs stretched out while sitting strait, no? Any thoughts on what I may have done wrong would be greatly appreciated. Im taking a 15 hour flight, on the 300 ER, and am very worried about this..would greatly appreciate any comments/input. Thank you everyone
The new business class on the 777s is in a 1-2-1 and is an updated version of what they have on the A380s. You are simply talking about the older 777s that had a refresh of the existing old cabins and business class is still crap even after the refresh.
The solution is to not pay for business on their 777s unless you are on one of the few planes that has the proper new business class.

And even then, heaven forbid a schedule change and you're stuck on an old seat for 14 hours to Dubai.
