MH Golden Lounge - Platinum Suite

Has anyone used the Platinum Suite at KUL? Where is the Platinum Suite in relation to the lounge entrance? - I'm one of those fools who really enjoy the street map function of Google maps! I've read some reviews but the descriptions of its location aren't as clear as I'd like them to be.

I presume you get access as OW Emerald flying MH. Again there appears to be inconsistencies in information provided by the users of Australian Frequent Flyer and the Flyertalk forums. Could someone please shed some light?

TRB: there's no longer a 'Platinum Suite' at MAS' KL First lounge - it's been converted to a 'retreat room' open to all First-eligible guests, and by memory it spears off to the right after you enter the lounge and have walked through that long void, but before you reach the dining area. And Oneworld Emeralds such as QF Platinum definitely get entry to the MAS First lounge.

Thanks David. So the the retreat room is just a more fancy lounging area within the First Lounge, with F&B only available in the main section of the First Lounge?

The room's quite a nice little haven away from the larger area of the lounge, and includes a few tables so you can have food and drinks served in there if you want.
