    Hi Pieman – no update from Emirates on this, as you've noted those SIN-MEL flights remain on the board through to October 2025. However, I have little doubt some announcement will be forthcoming, given Emirates' application to the relevant authorities to scrap the route.

    Thanks for sharing that update, DanV – and that's why we are cautious on areas like this. While AeroRoutes' GDS listings prove accurate most of the time, there are enough past examples of flights which do not go ahead for us to tread with caution and prefer to wait until things are official.

    We've of course seen those reports of Malaysia Airlines making a welcome return to Brisbane, but as yet the flights are not confirmed and they have not yet (at the time of writing) appeared on the MH website for booking. Once this all becomes official, we'll have an update to share on the home page.
