BA begin A380 services LHR-SIN from 28th Oct x3 weekly anyone flown on the BA A380 and would be encouraged to use the QF/BA service via SIN again?

It doesn't really improve the appeal of SIN when the QFi side of things is being run with old A330s and B747s.

If anything, I'd say it improves the appeal of using switching between the BA flights in SIN, if that's allowable.

To be honest, if I was connecting QF/BA, I'd actually still go via HKG, especially if I had access to the CX lounges.

You'd also enjoy a straight-through A380 service from SYD to LHR.

You will get the A380 all the way through, but you do have a lengthy stopover on the way out to London as the QF flights arrive around dinner time, but the BA flights don't leave 'til just shy of midnight.

More time to spend in the excellent CX lounges. :)

JBH, just last week i flew the BA A380 LHR-LAX the same aircraft as refered in Davids article and was impressed by the first cabin,the service however was mixed.The seating in other areas of the plane may not be to the liking of all.

via HKG, other than CX+BA, you can even have QF+BA such as daily QF A380 SYD-HKG (otherwise, BNE and MEL also has QF non-stop flights to HKG) and BA A380 HKG-LHR, many combinations
