Is is worth transfering Altitude points to Velocity Points with the bonus offer?

It really depends on what you wish do get with your points. I am assuming you don't mind flying with Virgin Australia exclusively if you transfer.  You could take advantage of the current half points offer on upgrading your Flexi fare to a Business or Premium Economy seat.

Otherwise, the points for claiming flights are about the same though with Altitude you get more airline choice. If you wish to fly Virgin then transferring the points might be worth it.

Remembering that you don't earn SC (Status Credits for Gold.Silver etc) on Virgin reward seats.  It may be better to convert your CC reward points to $ Cashback or Visa Prepaids and then purchase real Virgin seats (then you get SC and Velocity points).

If you are doing a lot of flying or need the SC's run it through a spreadsheet to see what is best.

With CItibank rewards -  converting those to Velocity at the moment with the bonus 15% is by far the best value converstion of points to $ Value.   (not considering no SC and no Velocity points on the booked flights).
