When Virgin Australia removes the middle seat from their A330s, will the aircraft be fitted with wifi? Do these A330s have the same sort of IFE coming as what the 737s will have?

Who said anything aboute removing the middle seat? It would make sense for the new product to be 2-2-2, but it's not a given...
I imagine that the new A330's VA is taking soon will be fitted with the wireless system that they were talking about at the end of last year. I doubt that will include internet access initially, but should include movies, tv shows etc (which I think is also making its way onto the 737's later in the year).

Virgin confirmed earlier this year to AusBT that they'll be dropping the middle seat from their two new A330s (http://www.ausbt.com.au/virgin-australia-new-seats-screens-revamp-for-airbus-a330s). We're also told they will have a new IFE, the same one as on Virgin Australia's international Boeing 777s.

Oh dear, not more inconsistencies!!
So we will now have:
Bit of a wasted opportunity to level out all the inconsistencies across the fleet IMO.

I understand that they'll be installing the "RED" IFT on the old A332s as well, at some stage.
