When flying QF in J from SYD-HK and return, is there a preference for the A380 or 747's currently on that route? Has anyone noticed any noticeable service differences? Other than the slight chance of being upgraded to the "F" seats on the A380, being sold as J.

Seating configuration has 3-across in the middle of the lower deck in J-class. And best J seats are row 5 window seats. Aisle on one side and personal locker/window on the other.

Above refers to B747 that is.
Also A380 service would be able to use points to upgrade, also offer on-board lounge albeit small but comfortable.

My wife and i prefer the upper 747, its just so cosy, only about 20 J MK11 seats, own galley and loo.

Just booked my J flights. 747 to HK, and A380 return! Best of both worlds! Upper deck emergency row on 747, and lower deck seat 1A in First class seat, offered on A380 for a business class ticket! Score!!! #winning ! Lol
