In terms of frequent flyer benefits - Virgin Australia

Qantas without hesitation, apart from work tickets, I wouldn't fly VA. Almost every flight I am made to feel valued, personally I feel like I get a lot of value/benefit from QFF and the associate benefits from Oneworld make it without question the right choice for me personally.

Tiger Airways
The non existent frequent flyer program and the frequent delays make me feel like I'm a valued flyer of the airlines
Nah - QF All the way the connections and routes make it the airline (Anyway Have a good Weekend!)

Qantas, Always been impressed with QF
VA are alright, although QF does outdo them IMO

I think its very subjective, I'm gold with both Virgin and Qantas..
I feel that the Virgin expefience is much more polished and modern and the branding and style aligns better with me personally. I think they've nailed the luxury experience of 'Now' whereas Qantas is a bit outdated and more traditional... The Virgin premium security areas for Business and FF Pax are also highights.
Qantas onboard service in Economy is much better than Virgin, Virgin business class miles ahead of QF.
Onground services however VA wins handsdown.

OH, and VA tends to treat their Gold Flyers better, simply because they are higher in the ranking than at Qantas.. Always a warm welcome back onboard etc which I rarely get on QF.

Qantas for the better lounges and oneworld.
I was at one point a Plat with both, but have left VA go as travel reduced a little to focus on QF.

VA as we can confirm reward J seats at time of booking, they have priority security and boarding sorted out, and we can firehose points into Krisflyer for roomy SQ J rewards when heading abroad. Plus I like toasted ham and cheese sandwiches. QF when they're the only option (e.g. SYD-WTB).
