Quoating Khazanah as reported in the Malay Mail Online, "Moving forward, the national carrier will be principally commercial while supporting national development objectives, provide broad connectivity via partnerships, and offer refreshed premium products,”
I wonder who makes the call when commercial imperative and national development objectives are mutually exclusive. Did they get into the current mess with poor route network because there were unclear roles & responsibilities and defined delegation of authority?
Has that now been fixed?

"MASB becomes MAB. And in other news today..." – yeah, not really something for us, we tend to focus more on passenger-facing aspects...

So far, looks like the biggest non-event of the year, but the day is not yet over. That said, I cannot imagine they would haved hired Saatchi's to do nothing. Patience therefore is hopefully a virtue!
