In my experience - no they don't. It only seems to happen on long-haul overnighters. The kits they give out on these flights are really good. However, you will find toothbrush/paste and shaver kits in bathroom - if you wish to grab them...

Ahh - that explains why we never received them on either of two long haul flights SNG-DXB and DXB-DUS earlier this year. They were daylight flights.

I made a return Business class trip between Brisbane and Auckland last week and was given a small socks and eye mask pack.

@Tom01 I presume that was that the 08:05 am flight? I catch that (and 435 back) regularly and have never been given any amenities but, that said, it is only 3.5 hrs and, as mern2001 points out, there are kits in the bathrooms. Frank I have received amenity kits on SIN-BNE departing around 15:00, granted it does land in BNE around midnight though.

The socks and eye mask tend to be in the seat's mini-bar area in a brown packet – separate from the full amenity kit you get on longer flights.

Normally no amenity kits are passed out, but if you ask one of the crew very nicely, they may feel kind hearted and give you one. It has worked with me before, but I was a few years younger and better looking! Bathrooms are well stocked though with all the essentials, plus Bulgari fragrances.

Enjoy it. Food in the lounges is good, so leave time for that, especially at the Auckland end, though lounge there can be tight if all three A380 flights are full. If you are travelling on your own, Go for an A or K seat. These have more leg room than other seats, with the exception E and F, which are located in the middle.
