Finnair "ladies only" toilet in J. Does anyone think this is absurd? Are there so many toilets in a350 business that it's OK to have Miehet and Naiset only cubicles?
I would rather have bigger toilets. Did anyone tried to put on pajamas in aircraft toilet? They make a lot of fuss what is better in J toilets, but forget to make it even an inch bigger.
Does that mean that there would be a males-only bathroom as well? Seems only fair, seeing as they are segregating genders (thought we were passed this part of our evolution, personally). Shouldn't they then have a non-specific gender people? Seems only fair to accommodate transgendered people as well.
i am not sure of the thinking re this - what amenities would a lady require that a man doesnt or she doesnt have with her anyway? I agree with Serg slightly bigger bathrooms for changing - the emirates 777 bathrooms require almost ballet like precision to change! and i am not large
At last. !!! Now on an aeroplane we have a toilet for the Ladies only and that will stop them whinging about us poor blokes always " leaving the seat up ".
Peace at last for the men on Finnair!!
Should be on every Airline and come to think of everywhere else.
WOMEN WANT EQUALITY! One time my Grandpa was on a bus and stood up for a lady, but the bloke next to him pulled him down and said "Women want equality, let them share the standing space!"
Let them share the same toilet, this is absurdly ridiculous!
I got no beef with it... My aim has fallen victim to a difficult lean and sudden turbulence. Wouldn't want my mother subjected to a seat that has endured 7 hours of pee roulette!

Not exactly unique though. Virgin had one in its 777 business class.

I have never actually seen it used as such though. I always get directed to use it if i am standing waiting for a bathroom.

I think part of the thinking is that women tend to keep bathrooms slightly 'cleaner' than men.

Have heard a lot of women say the complete opposite is true.

More reason for women to complain if blokes were to "go" without putting the seat up I'd say. Some people are just never satisfied....
