Are you refering to every class?

QF first i believe is a great product, business can do with wth some improvments. PE i believe is still one of the best in its class. Economy well theres not much to say is there.

The IFE screens needs to be upgraded to the ex3 system in the refurbed A333s with bigger screens. The current A380 IFE is aging in my opinion especially when you compare it to the Emirates A380 offering. And the addition of Q streaming would be nice

Yep, it will need mid life renewal. But that won't happen before the end of A330's. Knowing Qantas, it'll probably happen around 2027... hopefully, QF will suprise me and commences this from early 17

I saw the heading "who agrees..." And thought, gosh is this a school playground? Then I saw the profile that read "Student" and it all made sense :)

You really dislike students don't you...?

I dislike immature, simplistic questions. I don't necessarily blame the student as much as the ill-designed education system.

He's the last of the great philosophers!

I enjoy his cynicism, when it's not personal. TRB is the kind of guy that would have an interesting world view on everything. It's almost like his wings have been clipped on the Ausbt forum, pardon the pun.

responding to 'slighty off topic'... it's the internet, where people can say whatever/do whatever/be whoever/change whoever they are!!...and websites like this, and most 'social' websites have NO WAY of checking/verifying the 'credentials' of its users... i just do my best to weed out the 'players''...go with flow, read comments..have a giggle to myself..maybe occassionally comment..then move on with my life ..lol...just like it's up to others out there to conclude if I am a the same!!

I think Buisness is the only class in need of an upgrade for the next 5 years. This is really only due to the fact that every seat does not have direct aisle access. If they install the new Buisness Suite as seen on the new A330's then the product will be outstanding. The only problem though is the fact that there is a heap of space in the A380 Buisness Class cabin so putting 4 seats in every row instead of 6 might be a problem.

The upper deck isn't actually too much wider than the A330, hence 2-4-2 economy at the back. In fact, the new suite would probably fit in well upstairs.

Qantas have repeatedly said their pax love the A380 seating and they see no reason to change it anytime soon.

The only reason they should change it is that the new virgin seats and AA seats will outclass these old seats.

They would say that wouldn't they?

Realistically the only class needing a refit is J. It now lags what is considered the class standard which is direct aisle access for all seats.  That a domestic A330 has a better product than an A380 is an obvious issue.

W and Y are pretty much standard unless you count NZ's W class which is a bit fancier but even NZ probably wouldn't go down that path again.

F is fine unless QF wanted to go down the suite route which is very expensive and not really necessary.
