When are Qantas going to upgrade their IFE on domestic flights?
Having recently returned to Qantas after Virgin very disappointed with their IFE. Have been flying to and from Brisbane regularly on the 6am flight up and back. On a number of occasions we have been on the older 737 800's with screens that still down from the roof. I thought these went out in the early 2000's? Also when we have had screens on the back of the seats on a number of occasions the video has frozen or the sound has not been working. Only on one flight have I had the ability to stream via the inflight wireless to my device. What is their plan going forward are they retro fitting the older planes either with wireless or screens on the back of the seats? Surely they can prioritise this towards the longer haul flights versus the Melbourne - Sydney route for example. IMHO a lot of their planes are looking very old and tired.

Qantas recently started refurbishing some of the oldest 737-800's, I think three or four have been completed.

Thanks Chris!, looks like we will just have to be patient... Can confirm that the streaming service did work well.
