Will Qantas start offering the limo pick-up service that is offered by Emirates for Business Class? About the only decent thing that Emirates ever had to offer in my opinion.

can't see QF adding that myself. As a person living in Perth it looks like I won't have the option of flying to London on Qantas in the future as they appear to be only flying via Syd or Melb now. It looks like Emirates or someone else but NOT Qantas. Pity! Looks like there goes my Platinum 1 status (not that I have seen any real benefits to having it). Lucky I have Plat with Virgin as well.

Guys, check the media releases section of the QF website. Chauffered car pick will be available for all long haul flights, and passengers connecting to long haul flights travelling in Business and First.

addition: All long haul flights over 12 hours. Personally I find this pretty poor, if QF offer the service they should not make distinction between flight times (they could exclude Trans Tasman for that matter, EK also does not offer chauffeur drive on that route unless you are in First). Also wonder if they will exclude discounted fares.

I completely agree with you drgmarshall - in terms of it being one of Emirates' strenghts. Shame Qantas didn't do this earlier, as it may have helped retain some of their market share. In terms of what Emirates offers, I personally think their service is no better than Qantas and I think their aircraft interiors are hideous!
