Just wondering why the Solomons airlines flight IE700 and IE701 (HIR-BNE) is being flown by a Qantas 737-800 instead of their own a320-200.

No 'lending' involved, I'm afraid. Pure commercial business decision - as it should be - with a short-term lease of a lightly used B737-800. But good to see that QF is prepared to help Soloman Island Air.
