Classic award booking with stopover. How I can book it? If I book 2 separate booking it became dearer. For example if I book BKK-HKG-MEL it will be 78k points. If I want to stay in HKG for few days and book separate BKK-HKG and HKG-MEL it became 65k + 26k = 91K points. So is it possible to book with stay for 78k points?
Presuming it is QF (Classic Rewards) you are trying to book.
I just tried a 'dummy' booking 12/9 BKK-HKG and HKG-SYD 17/9 in J and it works correctly on one booking. Use 'Multi-City' and 'Flexible with dates'. J Class was available on both sectors.
One hint: BKK-HKG sector on CX is 26K points but same sector on EK in J is 24K. Two seperate bookings will be more expensive in terms of points. However on a single booking, you 'pay' a price for the stopover (vs thru) , which is standard.

I tried it and it makes it for 91K points, so to say no points to do so.
