Anyone knows how long before flight CX opens registration in Hong Kong?
Basically having very late flight that departure after midnight I like to maximize my stay in lounge after whole day running around Hong Kong to have no-rush shower and no rush dinner. Also is it better to go to QF or CX lounge?

Serg, I would suggest checking your bags and obtaining your boarding pass from one of the Airport Express stations (HK Station-Island side, Kowloon Station - Kowloon Side or Tsing Yi Station) up to 24 hours before your flight. That way you have no issues arriving at the lounge early to take advantage of the facilities.
Which lounge is better depends on if you are flying F or J and/or your OW status. If you have access to the First Lounge, you have to go to the relatively new The Pier First Class Lounge. Most of us would agree its probably the best F lounge in the World at the moment (if not in the top 3)
Safe travels.

Thanks for replay. So if I understand correctly I can check-in at Airport Express station and drop my bags anytime up to 24 hr before flight? It is really cool service! Can I leave anywhere there my cabin case and pick it up later?
No F, “just” J with CX and no status. So what J lounge is better – CX or QF?

You can check into CX flights at the in town check-in 24 hours before your flight and up to 90 minutes before departure so you should be able to go through to the lounge early enough to relax and enjoy it.
The QF lounge is great but so are the CX lounges especially if you can go into the First Class lounge.

Good advice from 180mis and AusFlyer – I use the airport expres checkin on the days when I have a late flight out of HKG, works a treat. You can't leave your carry-on bag at the airport express station - but no reason you can't leave it at the hotel and pick it up at the end of the day, just before you head to the airport.
(You might want to see if the airport express station has a 'left luggage service' where you can pay to have your luggage left behind, only issue is that sometimes the space gets full quite quickly and they can't take any more bags, had this happen to me at one of the stations last month).
As for lounges: flying business class with CX will get you into both The Qantas Lounge (excellent food, drink and people - BBQ pork, plate of the day, espresso martini and you're set!) and new and impressive The Pier Business Lounge which will be open from next weekend, as well as The Wing J, The Cabin and The Bridge. Which ones you can time to visit depends on where your plane is leaving from, as the lounges are spread out around the terminal, but the first two I've mentioned would be my pick.
