Don't know but when I flew SYD-LAX this week I notice that if you were seated in rows 8-9 you'd get a lot of light from the bar in your face.I'd stay clear of these rows until such time curtains have been fitted.
Rows 7 and forwards are shielded from the bar lighting by curtains.
I'm not aware of any issues on Virgin's B777 with regard to Australia's wartime Prime Minister John Curtin. There are however reports that the curtains at the B777's business class cabin are going to be somehow modified and refitted, if that's what you mean.
Geez, did people have a bad day today? Unusually acerbic responses and negative votes, from our usually friendly little community... and all over a simple typo.

I'm certain the OP means curtain not curtin.
VA is currently updating the business seats in its B777s but unsure if this includes the curtain.
In any aircraft you have some areas of light spill, somewhat unavoidable, which is why most airlines issue eye masks as part of their amenity kit.
