Is there any word on whether Qantas will be taking delivery of its remaining orders? Whether in entirety (eight) or in part? Or have these orders been cancelled or exchanged?
No official word out of Qantas or Airbus, but it's looking pretty unlikely they'll take up their last eight orders.
The A380 isn't a leading performer in terms of fuel efficiency, and QF are shifting away from it in favour of smaller longhaul aircraft (like the A330/B787/B777) which gives them route flexibility and are easier to fill up.
This would also align with their goal of fleet simplification, which allows them to shift equipment across routes. (The A380 can't be swapped in and out of service elsewhere the way it's smaller relatives can.)
I'd be skeptical we'll see another A380 delivered to Qantas, going forward.
I would guess that if they do take them, it would only be to replace the current A380s and they wouldn't be due for replacement until 2026 at the earliest.
I guess not because there aren't many more locations from Australia which show a serious demand such as the big ones such as Los Angeles, Hong Kong & Dallas have already been taken-up by the A380.
QF currently has 8 A380 on order and another 4 options. The orders have been deferred for 4 years. It is unlikely they'll pick up the options. I don't see QF or Airbus holding the orders as they for another 10-15 years in order to replace the currently operating A380s in the fleet.
Qantas Group also has orders for 90 odd A320s.
If anything, I'd expect the A380 orders to be converted to A350s or cancelled outright. I would expect there to be some sort of announcement re the A380 orders at the full year results.

Some time to go before QF need to plan to replace the youngest of it 737s, which is the youngest aircraft in the QF fleet (about 18 months)
