Did anyone else pick up Virgins announcements are exactly one year to the day QF grounded themselves????? Interesting

I'm not really convinced that they are related... I would doubt that it holds any significance or that Virgin would enter into talks with SQ et al to ensure they can time it to announce on this day.

Interesting to note, and very true! I have not seen that flagged anywhere in media, although it was clear to me that with the Qantas AGM just three days away, this was very strategic timing – it effectively lets Virgin frame how many analysts and media could well judge and report on the Qantas AGM.
