Just on ebay last night and saw QF entry passes to the J lounge for sale around the $60-70. Being P with QFF this is more of a rhetorical question but what do you really think they are worth? I have been underwhelmed by the QF J lounges and would rather save my money and eat in a proper in terminal restaurant for that money, although perhaps not if I was stuck in SIN or SYD for 3-4 hrs waiting for a connection.

The F lounges are good, never seen entry passes for sale, but I wouldnt rate them above the $100-150 mark.

what do you reckon as regular users of these facilities ( i imagine some people will buy the passes at a premium just for the J experience?)

I'm with you, for what people are paying for them I'd much prefer to dine in a decent terminal restaurant

I once bought a F lounge pass for $100. Was well worth it for a visit to the Sydney lounge.... but I doubt they'll come up again any time soon.

I wouldn't pay for a QF J lounge pass... unless I was intending on using it in Singapore or Hong Kong. I think around $50 is a reasonable price to pay and when I get some spare qf passes, I normally sell them for around that price.

I would say it greatly depends how long your layover is. For 6 hours of layover I would pay $60-$70 no probs. It is not just food, but also calm convenient place and shower. For 2 hr of layover I would skip it and for anything in between depending on mood. YMMV of course.

I agree that an F lounge voucher would be worth it, but probably not a voucher for the other ones. If you had a party of people and needed a voucher to get the last person into the lounge then it would still probably be worth it.

You can get vouchers to access domestic QANTAS Club and International J for free with some credit cards and one each year if you have PS status.
