It's far from sucking, though I would not go so far as saying it's a marvel.

It is however consistent - you get the same Club World seat on most flights. With the right pricing, it is reliably consistent in an expectation-setting mediocre kind of way. I like to think of it as a BAU airline.

Having said that, my parents had an emergency and had to fly back from IAD at short notice some months back. BA's call centre sorted it all out with no extra charges and got them back and provided wheelchairs in transit etc. We would have had serious doubts about their expereince had it been with another carrier plying the same route i.e. ME3.

Yes, I agree that it consistent across fleet and service is prompt and I like BA for this. But really last window seat on second deck of 747 more look like mini-suite with full privacy and ample of storage and even huge second table while last seat on aisle close to toilet is no more than flat bed. And they cost the same.

It's a decent premium economy, it's nothing amazing but if you get the right price it's very good value for money compared to economy.

BA's call centre is great. They actually called me back when the call dropped and saved me waiting another 20mins to explain my request to someone new.
