AA T4 Admirals Lounge Under Renovation - Transit lounge option for Qantas to AA passengers at LAX

Following the articles here on AusBT I used the Qantas F lounge recently whilst waiting for my AA domestic flight to Las Vegas. I was glad I did as the AA Admirals lounge in T4 is currently undergoing heavy renovations with space quite restricted. 

Getting to the lounge is about a 5min walk from where you drop off your luggage - there is a security point which had about 6 pax lined up. So very quick and easy to get to the lounge. The signage isn't exactly helpful so just follow the signs for TBIT and you'll find the Qantas F lounge entrance on your right - you approach from the opposite direction so keep an eye out!

Getting to the domestic gate was less than 10mins of walking - my gate was quite close to the Admirals Club so that saved another 3-4mins to get to the far gates. 

It is by far the best option for those of us transiting to an AA domestic flight.

I'd always choose the TBIT over the AA lounges any day - even if the AA ones aren't under renovation. Having a shower in the OneWorld lounge during a LAX transit is great

Very true re the showers. I really appreciated having a decent shower in the Qantas lounge. 

The interconnect between T4 and TBIT is a real winner for Qantas passengers.
