I know there are many threads regarding Platinum comping and the prevailing view is that it is an unpublished benefit (and as such not guaranteed) offered to members with 3 year averages of above 1,200/1,400 SCs. Wondering if any members of the community have experiences with not being comped despite meeting this requirement. If so did you speak to qantas about it and where did you land?
For context I'm a QF platinum with a 3 year average of c. 1,600+ (Including this year) but this year will probably only earn 600 odd. I have a 600 SC trip in J (with double SCs) the month after my membership year expires so needless to say would be disappointed not to get comped... just trying to get a feel for my chances.
If I'm reading this correctly, your J flights will return 600 SC's so with the Double SC's offer you will gain 1200 SC's from your trip correct?
Add 100 SC's from the two Loyalty bonus' (2x 50sc's) your new total is 1300, and you are most of the way back to Platinum.
Given how close you will get the next month, it may be worth asking if they can offer you a short extension until your booked trip. Others on this site are likely to have had more experience at how successful these requests have been.

I think the OP means the J flight totals 600 SC inc the double SC offer - so in reality the OP would have 600 SC's one month into their new year.
My experience with retaining Platinum when short of SC is 1 win and 1 loss. The loss was very early into my Platinum status life and I had little multi-year history. The win was appreciated as I fell something like 200 short but had forward booked something like 500 SC's of flights and they comp'd me. I'd also had a 5+ year run at a status earn similar to the OP.
For what it's worth, I've read other comments on this issue indicating that Qantas 'may' look at historical averages when determining whether a customer maintains status or moves back to the cheap(er) seats...
Personally, I'd give them a call and ask them for feedback.

I'd say your chance of getting comped is 90% plus.
