I agree, as good as it is, I think I've had too many of the corn fritters lately. Though I guess one reason might be that they can pump out the brekkie items more rapidly for the peak hour rush than the others that might require a bit more finesse. Some of that calamari before 10:30 would be great!
For what it's worth: staff at the Qantas first class lounge will do their best to prep some dishes from the 11am or all-day dining menu earlier than when those menus kick in, as long as you it's not too busy, you ask nicely and it's a delight rather than a demand.
Some of the more substantial dishes can't be done earlier than the norm because of the work and setup they need, but others are not so much a drama.
I spoke last week with David, the manager at Qantas' Sydney first class lounge, and he mentioned that for example they can do the salt & pepper calamari before 10.30am - provided the lounge isn't chockers, or course.
They seemed to have started their Autumn menu already when I was there last week in the Sydney F Lounge. Only tried the brekkie menu though - much the same but pancake is now Apple & Cinnamon

Has QF ever considered making the all day menu available all day?
