Hello all. Just not quite sure about this. I have a complimentary QF lounge invitation that I want to give to a friend. He is flying to DXB via Singapore on QF 8405 (operated by Emirates). He has no QF status. The rules state that the pass can be used on "QF operated lounges". He has a stop-over in Singapore for a bit under two hours and I was wondering if he could use the pass to get into the QF lounge. Thanks!

Hello. Yes - can use the pass. As long as flight is marked a QF flight on the boarding pass - then good to go. Hours are 14:30hrs - 23:00hrs each day.
T1 - L3 (after security)
Showers, Dining, WIFI.

Thanks Wozcor1 for your thorough answer - I didn't think of opening hours. The flight gets in at 23.50 and leaves at 1.40. So it looks like it will be closed for my friend.

I wonder if I could give my Mum one of those free passes that you get with a silver QFF membership, so she could use it to get into LAX Qantas lounge?

Sorry to disappoint but the LAX lounge is shared also with BA and CX. As such, the complimentary Qantas Club pass is unable to be used in LAX.
