My wife and l are both Gold QFF holders and are going to be flying Qantas to Bali next week. Can we access the Emirates Lounge, i've been trying to find the answer but have found no definitive answer.
I wondered about this and was recently turned away from the Emirates Lounge in Sydney prior to flying to Vancouver with Qantas.
I was advised it was on their website. The Emirates website (worldwide lounges page) currently says "Lounge access is not available if you are travelling on flights operated by other carriers (including Emirates codeshare flights)".

It wasn't explained by the lounge staff very well, but the Qantas+Emirates agreement doesn't cover North America (USA, Canada), so you can't visit an Emirates lounge in Australia if flying to North America.
You can however use Emirates' Australian lounges prior to Qantas flights to Asia, subject to Emirates opening hours and any capacity constraints.
Awesome, i'll give it a go and make sure l have the conditions on hand. Have you used the lounge before?
Yes - not before a flight to Bali but before a Qantas business class flight to Shanghai. Zero dramas but it took a moment to process the entry as they had to photocopy the boarding pass for whatever reason.
I've used it many times in Sydney, Auckland and Bangkok, no prob with any of the times.... they were happy enough and advised no boarding calls for QF flights. A great view from the Sydney lounge.

Thanks for that, pity it can't because it looked pretty good and the food looked far superior to that offered in Qantas's Business lounge.
